The machine actually HAS a floppy drive, but its empty and not used for a

I have discovered a serious bug where Ubuntu wakes up the system from ACPI S3
State instantaneously if I am using a system with SiS chipset's USB.

Could this bug have to to with my Nvidia video card ?
Maybe you cannot reproduce the bug because we do not have the same hardware.
If it can help I could install 12.04 on another partition on my HD and try to
upgrade and see what happens.
