The workaround from bug 321444 works for me as well: after attaching and
using an external USB mouse, XTestFakeMotionEvent works fine. Btw.
instead of the xevent tool you can use the xdotool app which is
available in Ubuntu repository to test for the bug (use xdotool
mousemove 100 100 as test).
Felipe: do you have any Gedit plugins activated? The crash could be
caused by a bad plugin.

I've seen this too, with vinagre and xvncviewer. Doesn't happen with
krdc, though.

Same here (totem-xine 2.20.0-0ubuntu3 on Gutsy). Switching on the
Deinterlace option doesn't seem to change anything. However, in Gxine it
is possible to enable very good deinterlacing, so technically Xine
should be able to do that as well.

After the latest gfvs update (is now 0.1.8-0ubuntu1) webdav now
basically works for me in Hardy. Accessing dav://mediacenter.gmx.net/ or

Compiz in Gutsy Beta: No workspace switching with mousewheel
I can confirm at least the second point of the original bug report
(cycle virtual desktops by using the mouse wheel on the switcher
applet) - the wheel apparently no longer has any effect on the desktop
switcher applet if Desktop Effects are enabled. In my opinion switching
on Visual Effects

The PDF file states that I'm not allowed to transfer it over the internet
without consent of the author. Also I didn't find exactly this file
(SPR6L45GR0.pdf) on the Toshiba homepage; but I found this similar user manual
on the web which also makes evince crash sometimes:

About a the re-login problem: with the current LiveCD it's not enough to
just log out and log in again after installing nvidia-glx-new, because
apparently then the nvidia.ko module is not found. But it seems that
this can be fixed by reinstalling the linux-restricted-
modules-2.6.22-14-generic

I have this problem as well, but it's not always reproducible... In some
cases the same file can be opened without problems and on other tries
this internal error comes up. It seems like it partially depends on
whether there is already a gedit instance running.

This is a really weird bug, but I could reproduce it on three different
Gutsy installations now, so I suppose it's true :-)
So: moving the mouse cursor diagonally (basically from top left to
bottom right) over the main entries in the
