Hello,
I'm on Ubuntu Dapper and I use rhythmbow to play music.
On Breezy, I used to use keys to control volume by gnome volume controler. But,
on Dapper, using keys (so the gnome volume controler) control gnome sounds like
bip but not gstreamer. I've hear on Dapper

I was looking at a system today where the virtual memory usage of gnome-
cd was over 700MB. It seems this program leaks over 100kB each minute.
How I assessed this on my own machine:

Vincent, I agree that the Reading printer database window looks
unprofessional.
Several people reported in bug #39604 and duplicates that it takes around 10
seconds before the gnome-cups-add window is shown. I think for this short time
we don't need a dialog, a simple busy cursor indicating to
maybe 5.10 had the same issue, marking as closed since it's fixed now.
Feel free to reopen if you manager to get a such bookmark again

you open the gnome-volume-control and note what slider moves when you

So, The keys controls the gnome volume controler, so that's this which matters.
Yes, that's it : the gnome volume controler don't change volume of rhythmbox
and totem-gstreamer. Both have its own volume state, what's expected, but gnome

Thanks so the problem is that ALSA or the gst alsa sink doesn't detect
the capabilities of your hardware correctly as it's only able to play
sound sampled at 48000khz... I'll get this reported upstream :)

I can confirm this... the video stutters, there's a grey bar, there's a
large black border and it seems that the audio gets out of sync. seeking
is not possible.
This is with the ffmpeg gstreamer plugin, the pitfdll one explodes
completely with a segfault.

Confirmed by me too. I have the menu located on the bottom of the screen
and I'm using cutting-edge version of Dapper system.

Thanks for your bug. That's not a bug but a feature to avoid having a
too long menu. If you have 6 bookmarks or network places or drivers
connected it creates a submenu for them. Closing since that's not a bug
but a feature. If you want to discuss it upstream is the right place, we
are not likely
The minimalistic theme looks amazing. I think that should be the
default as well, maybe with a message saying Press CTRL-ALT-F# to see
details or something like that.
If not that, the old one should be brought back; the new one looks
terrible IMO.

This commit should fix the problem with servers / channels marked as
auto-connect.
For the others, we need to improve the session support but it's more a RFE than
a bug.
