Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read How to report bugs effectively http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem, 2. the behavior you expected, and 3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Thanks! When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the appropriate application's Help - Report a Problem menu or using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. [Bug 739795] Re: Evolution closes on send
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/739795 Title: Evolution closes on send -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 744929] [NEW] After auto-login, prompted to unlock keyring multiple times
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-keyring I have auto-login set up on my laptop. When the desktop loads, it prompts me to unlock the keychain. I enter my password, and another prompt appears, identical to the first. In total, 4 prompts appear each time I turn on my laptop. The key thing is this: I only have to enter my password once. If I enter my correctly password on the first prompt, the keychain is unlocked and I can press Cancel (or hit escape) on all further prompts and the laptop works as expected. If I do not enter my password on the first prompt and hit Cancel on all 4 prompts, then the keychain is not unlocked and eventually I get prompted again. So it seems like multiple requests are being made to gnome-keyring when the keyring is locked, and gnome-keyring puts up a prompt for each of these requests, rather than waiting to see what happened after the first prompt was dealt with. This is seemingly related to the experience of some of the commenters on bug #637702, but it was suggested in the comments on that bug that new bugs should be filed with specific details. I would be happy to provide further information and/or help debug this. [Bug 708382] Re: [regression] cannot create custom preferred applications
This also affects other mail applications like gnome-gmail (bug #729357) and desktop-webmail since neither can set themselves as the default mail application - at the moment there is a patch for gnome-gmail in the attached bug, but it would seem a better solution would be to fix this in gnome-control-center so all apps work like they did previously, rather than having to patch each app's desktop file individually. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/708382 Title: [regression] cannot create custom preferred applications -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 727258] Re: reply-all doesn't work !!!
You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/727258 Title: reply-all doesn't work !!! -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 741155] Re: gnome-volume-control crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
Hell I don;t know how to bring up all that stuff that you brought up but I have no volume control in Natty either. When I upgraded Natty the sound control panel vanished like Hodini into the night and I can't figure out how to get it back. I even put a sound control shortcut on my desktop and it won't do anything. Other than that I am not having troubles with Natty but it crashes every now and then and have to restart. Heres something for people that use Wine3 of the first 5 apps I downloaded had viruses so I hurried up and removed any traces of Wine off my system.
