You're right it's probably because of compiz-fusion. Currently I've been
using CF compiz 1:0.5.2-0ubuntu4 from deb
http://download.tuxfamily.org/3v1deb gutsy eyecandy repository.
Even during writing this email it has also happened and this time also
hanged computer. I had to reset my laptop.

Oh, I've forgotten to add that I do not have any problems with evolution
when running evolution under valgrind or strace.

I've got the same problem but when sending e-mail. I've tried to
investigate if it's connected with preview pane - I think it's not (of
course in my case)

Power Manager doesn't show tray icon when AC is disconnected even if
such option is enabled in settings. What's more, even if always show
icon is enabled it does not show if battery is unloading or how much
power is left. Everything is ok when cable is plugged in. Tray shows

I've already realised that level of power (in %) freezes when plugging in a
cable. It's not correct like I've previously posted. So, if I want to have
correct values I must unplug and then plug cable.

After Today's gdm update there was enabled sound when login screen
appears. The rest (sound and splash when loading gnome) remain the same
- i.e. they don't appear.

It helped me too. I also renamed this file and after next login gnome-
settings-daemon started to work. I'm also adding monitor.xml file. I use
only my laptop screen :)

Well, today I've made a clean install of 7.10. Even on Live CD install
,window title bar fonts were extremely huge. After install I could see
the same huge font on login screen and, like on Live CD, on tittle bars.
Font on tittle bars has changed after switching to non-default metacity

Evolution now opens without any problems. Its probably caused by some
other updates but to be honest I do not remember any related to the
evolution or it's environment.
For me this bug can be marked as invalid for now.
