I don't really know what GTK version is going to land in Trusty but

Thanks for your information. I've looked into the BIOS upgrade options, and the
only viable means seems to be to install Windows on the machine via the
recovery disk and then upgrade the BIOS using the utility provided by HP. I
don't have a spare SATA drive for this immediately
