vainfo crashed with SIGSEGV in va_TraceEnd()

I tried doing that but even though pulseaudio set this cards profile to off it
did not recover. Even a reboot after using pavucontrol did not work.
According to my saviour at university pulse recognizes the switching from one
sound card to the other but it can't handle the switch internally.

Reopening, because adding the "x-canonical-snap-decisions-timeout" hint
was a bad idea. The notification spec already has a timeout parameter on
org.freedesktop.Notifications.Notify(). We can just use that one for
snap decisions and ignore it for all other notification types.

The system-ca-certs problem has been fixed in Linux Mint 17.
What may remain, though, is that the right authentication type such as
TTLS or PEAP is not selected automatically. For me PEAP had to be chosen
to connect to Eduroam; your institution should be able to tell which of
these types you need
IMHO, I agree with the previous several posters: anno 2014, AP
priorities are not a luxury, but necessity.
