After using the Nouveau driver for months, I needed performance and came
back to Nvidia proprietary driver 340.102 on Ubuntu 16.04. The problem
still exist, but my script that fix it by adding 'Option
"RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1"' into
