We fixed this issue in saucy by moving responsibility for handling
suspend into systemd-shim and adding a check there to ignore suspend
requests that come in during a very small window after waking up. From
personal reports, this has solved the issue for everyone who has tried

in the cloaking code in libindicator. The menu gets detached from its

When it crashes, it spikes my CPU
I hope that helps; if not, I can try to get more info the next time it blacks

Having Network Manager set to use dnsmasq doesn't get along very well
with Comcast, using the suggestion of commenting out the dnsmasq line
from /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and restarting the network-
manager service fixed the problem for me.

EDIT: I managed to fix this by using WPA instead of WEP, but if I did
not change that setting on my network, this issue still is valid.

I am running 12.04 Desktop 64bit with an ATI Radeon 6670.
I have encountered this bug as described above, dbus wildly blows up and
compiz eats memory while gsd churns on to no end.

This issue still seems to exist somewhat in the version of Rhythmbox in
precise. I have options for FLAC, but I cannot edit settings for any of
the options that I have to encode in. I'm re-opening temporarily to see
