I can't confirm this. I use the Guest account to log in under a Gnome session
(not Ubuntu).
From there, choosing to Switch user gives the same behaviour as above,
though without the need for a password since Guest has none. That is, the
screen goes blank except for a top bar, and nothing more
[This is a repeat of the previous comment, with slightly clarified prose.]
I can't confirm the observation of josgray. I use the Guest account to log in

I've got the same error, I was able to delete the cal by selecting it
then discard the error message. To remove the calendar go on Edit menu
then Delete Calendar.

I had the same issue, opened a bug report and now I found this one, so I
decided to add the link to mine including a syslog:

users it is deterrent that you cannot
Try to change options to build image before burn, not on-the-fly, and it

good question. I had some problems during the installation process
(e.g. skype:i386 - bug in dpkg) or my openGL runs not very stable
(Lenovo x121e (Intel I3 with integrated Intel HD 3000)) but I think I
didn't change any desktop configuration.

When I am in the login screen typing in my password the keys are very
unresponsive. I have to practically slam the keys to get any sort of
response, yet when I am in the main screen I can use the keyboard
normally i.e. LibreOffice Writer to type documents
