launchpad. If I try this with the crash file instead it only opens a window
with some crash details but there is no possibility to upload anything.

I am also seeing this bug with Ubuntu 18.04 and my Sony MDR-1000X. The
A2DP profile shows but cannot be selected. I have observed this with two
different Bluetooth devices. One was a USB-plugin and the other one is
PCI-e card. Deleting and reconnecting the headset works fine though.

I am running Ubuntu 18.04 and have Sony WH-1000XM2 bluetooth headphones.
Bluetooth connection is established automatically but in order to get
any sound out of the headphones I need to:

Lirc 0.10.0-2 is never configured after installation. Manually running
"dpkg-reconfigure lirc " also does not do anything. I also noticed that
/usr/share/lirc/remotes is empty, which is where I had my config file
for Ubuntu 16.04.
This was an upgrade install from 16.04.
@jbicha: Those changes will *never* affect a released Debian or Ubuntu version,
only in-development stuff.
The earliest point I actually would consider making such a change is after the
Debian Buster release and at least one release before the next Ubuntu LTS.
