I'm on Ubuntu 12.10 using SNA.
Tear is still present on video playback (mainly with VLC) with compositor
enabled or disabled. (va-api enabled/disabled no changes as well)
Which is expected as Ubuntu 12.10 doesn't carry the required kernel
patches.

Whenever I skip rapidly through songs, if I click skip before the cover-
art completes fading, the first album I skipped from is faded from to
the current song being played. This is a UI bug.
What I expected to happen:
1) Track A is played
2) Skip button is clicked
3) Song
Fwink creates a NullRenderer. It adds it to the filter graph. On the
CaptureGraphBuilder2, it calls RenderStream(), asking it to link the
preview pin to the the default renderer. Then it calls RenderStream()
again, asking it to link the output pin to the NullRenderer. Finally it
adds the sample

[Cirrus Logic CS4206] ALSA test tone not correctly played back. There is no

all 12.04 LTS updates up to date and again, with

machines that freeze as announced in my previous comment).
