ubuntu-wallpapers.xml.in

Thanks for your report.
AFAIK ++U to type Unicode characters is a GTK+ feature, and
it's expected behavior that it doesn't work when XIM is the selected
input method. (It works when IBus or Fcitx is the selected IM, though.)
For a while Language Support has set XIM behind the scenes when opened
As for backporting the commit, its certianly worth considering. However
yakkety should have a newer kernel when it is released, and that kernel
will be backported to xenial in time, and a new xenial image will be
released with that updated kernel.

maybe we just eat that problem? Or as you say we ship a compatibility

Well, it doesn't have to be a default wallpaper. Maybe we can move it
into the release-specific packages like ubuntu-wallpapers-xenial and
keep the weird name.
But being in the ubuntu-wallpapers package makes it seem like it's a
standard complement to the official one (and it is sort of, the
I don't remember being aware that it was a 'default' wallpaper.
For this upload, I'll make a symlink default-greyscale-wallpaper.png.
Hopefully that works.

The system recognizes the printer, it prints the file, shows the job has
been sent, logs it to the spooler, shows it as completed, but nothing is
printed. This happens for both USB and WiFi

Don't worry about marking this a duplicate. We repurposed the other bug
to just track the libmateweather SRU instead.

gnome-applets in Precise is technically no longer supported which I
think was the only thing using this library for actual weather

this problem in a live session of Ubuntu GNOME and my Ubuntu install.
Yes, I do see this issue in the gtk fileselector, gedit and LibreOffice

The bug is 100% reproducible. I can schedule "AM" events and all day
