francesco, I think the reason you find Xorg is more fluid might be because you're using two GPUs (Intel + AMD) and mutter's Wayland handling of secondary GPUs is sometimes inefficient. To prove that is the issue, you can try unplugging the external monitor(s) and just compare the laptop screen
