Because is almost a week since i start the question and because this
really looks like a bug, i'm creating it.
Firefox renders a web page differently in Windows and Mac than in
Ubuntu.
The web page is:
I have exactly the same problem with exactly the same HW (Macbook 2,1).
It happened with 12.04 and it's happening now with 12.10. This messages
go haywire after trying to hibernate the system, which is always
unsuccessful.
So far I didn't experience any problems other than some occasional

I have the same problem. What exactly is the fix?, if it's won't fix
because it has been removed by the Totem developers, it would be nice to
remove the reference to the DLNA compatibility in the package
description: it's confusing.
