[impish] gtk4 build test failures on pp
The package move suggestion wasn't about this bug. If the file ought to
be in the -dev package and we think it's important enough, we can do the
move.
We once discussed this idea for policykit's .its file, which is included
in policykit-1 instead of the -dev package.

Sorry for the very late response.
I verified your sample file works with totem-pl-parser 3.26.5-5ubuntu1
on Ubuntu 21.10 (development). That version of totem-pl-parser is also
available in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS so it probably works there too.

We have done big transitions before. If we wanted to move the file, I
think it could go like this:
Step 1: Have libappstream-glib-dev depend on appstream
Step 2: File bugs against all the rdepends to change their Build-Depends
Step 3: After all the rdepends are fixed, move the file and drop the de

In my PPA, 4.3.2 builds ok, but 4.4.0+ds1-2 and 4.4.0+ds1-3 fail at the
same spot.
The test passes on Debian's ppc64el b
I don't believe this is something we are going to do since gtk4 builds
fine on arm64 on the official Debian and Ubuntu builders.
You can easily extend the timeout. Look for "arm" in debian/rules and
add "arm64". If that still doesn't work, you can tweak the
test_timeout_multiplier on the next line

It is intentional that the screen lock is inhibited (temporarily
disabled) when watching a video. That may happen if you're listening to
music too, and is probably intentional.
It sounds like you are requesting that your screen automatically lock
when you switch to a virtual terminal.
