Added a description. The problem with hiding caps windows over the top
panel appears if the change /turn off the effects of Compiz. When you
try to reset effects on a standard or off, you can get disables plugin
Unity (a system without launcher, the top panel, hotkeys).

Oh right, libudev is no longer linked directly, but loaded through dlsym
to keep up with the problem of different libudev libraries being loaded

stated my issue was occurring at the driver level, and so get thee to
the ALSA people was my instruction.
