A work-around is to add the package 'nvidia-settings' and use that to
set up mirroring. However, it would be best to get it fixed in gnome-
control-center. The control center works otherwise but mirroring is
really needed when doing presentations because it is necessary to see on
the laptop

in Ubuntu 13.10.
