Meanwhile, there's this release I started ?2? weeks ago for the remote
shell component. Do two more of you PMC members want to give it a plus 1,
or do you want me to remove the tag and back out the version in the pom?

A look at

The remote shell release still needs two votes.
I would be grateful if a PMC member would do this, since I can't edit

Any chance of a few more voters? I'm in the middle of a job change; it
would be nice to finish this off during my week in between.
Hmm. I am inclined to write a JIRA to clean that up later; for the
typical trivial use case of the 'lite' package, I don't think it's a
big risk. We'll see if we get any votes.

I am preparing, at least mentally, to do to [1] to the
maven-bundle-plugin -- to make it require Maven 3.x.
So, you might think that I need to change the major version number.
This, of course, would have the effect of de-syncing the versions from
bnd versions. Maybe this doesn't bother anyone.

Is this the one that is 'owned' by the bndlib people, or are there
more than one?
The 'bnd' mailing list told me that it had less capability than the
maven-bundle-plugin, so that would be a reason not to retire.
I'll take on the lifecycle, but I'll make it a plugin that requires
maven 3, first. T

There are still a couple of issues left in JIRA:

I don't seem to have access to manage versions, and people have been
marking JIRAs as fixed for 3.0.2 instead of 3.0.1. I am going to cheat

is the result of my labors so far.
I am willing. I'll tee it up this weekend.

At Felix, I'd like to add publication of a maven-generated site to the
existing CMS content, following the trail of what's done at Maven.
I see that the main site for Felix is at
https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/websites/production/felix/content,
that's
http://felix.apache.org

ust a
preference. If the acceptable compromise is to have less repos than
releasable items (possibly as few as one repo), I'd personally rather
do that than not move to git at all.

benson
