Re: Java Money Library update does not build successfully when building Fineract CN

2018-04-12 Thread Awasum Yannick
Hey Myrle,

For the short term, I have an older version (snapshot of Java Money) which
builds successfully and solves the problem for now. For anyone who has
problem building Java Money, clone this version:
https://github.com/awasum/javamoney-lib

Issues have been raised on the Java Money Github Repos, See:
https://github.com/JavaMoney/javamoney-lib/issues/44 and
https://github.com/JavaMoney/jsr354-ri/issues/186

I have commented on the issues so as to keep track of the conversation. It
seems they need to release to more Java Money dependencies to MavenCentral
before the problem can be fixed.

Thanks.

2018-04-12 Thread Myrle Krantz
Hey Awasum,

I was not aware of the changes. I can't work on a solution right now
because i"m in the middle of renaming all of the packages from
io.mifos to org.apache.fineract.cn, and it's a multi-repository
change.

Maybe you'll already have a solution by the time I'm done. If not, we
can have a think on it together.

Best Regards,
Myrle

It would be great to start the process with all of them. You can create a

Java Money Library update does not build successfully when building Fineract CN

2018-04-12 Thread Awasum Yannick
Hello Everyone,

While building Fineract CN on a fresh machine, I realized that the Java
Money Library is not building successfully and as a result of that services
which depends on Java Money are failing.

It seems the Java Money library here
 has been updated and the
build process has changed or there is a breaking change. I had to revert to
cloning the old repo I had forked few months ago:
https://github.com/awasum/javamoney-lib

Please try to build the new Java Money code and let me know so I can update
the build script and also the Build guide on Confluence.

Thanks.

Hi, I'm Angel Cajas from Bowpi, we are ready to submit the next features for
code review:

*Subrates
*Transaction Detail Table
*Calculation of overdue amount for daily charges

As this useful article I understand that we need to create an issue before
creating a pull request
and would like to know which of one of this features are you most interested to
be included to start this process .

Best Regards and thanks for your attention,

Re: Need help on two things in MIFOSX Webapp

2018-04-12 Thread Abhishek Singh
Hi Rajan,

I have installed the MIFOS X on my PC and also the Android APP on my
mobile. I have created separate login ID for my MIFOS X PC instance and
have created a client and also disbursed one loan in client's name. Now I
want to connect the Android App using the same login so that it can connect
to the database of MIFOS X on my PC and reflect the data in my database on
my Andoid App.

While using the default ID *MIFOS* and password *password* I am able to
login to the android client with the following connection settings:-

Instance url by default is *demo.openmf.org *
Tenant identifier by default is
*https://demo.openmf.org/fineract-provider/api/v1/
*
Port by default is blank

I wanted to know for my url *https://localhost * what
should be the settings for Instance url; Tenant identifier and Port number
which I have to use so that I can login into MIFOS X android app, and the
the database which I have created on my PC in MIFOS X reflects the same
data in my mobile.

Thanks and regards,
Abhishek

 Dear Sampath,

I am testing MIFOSX and was able to install it on my PC and access it
using https://localhost. I am facing two problems

 1) I want to generate report which shows the collection sheet for a
centre for a particular centre meeting date.

 2) I am unable to login into MIFOX Andorid client App. Could not
understand what domain name should be given along with Port number and
 Tenant name.

Will appreciate the guidance from the community.

 Thanks and regards,
 Abhishek

Re: Machine Learning Requirements Discussion: WAS [Introducing Maha Refai, Mifos Initiative volunteer, working on requirements for credit analytics]

2018-04-12 Thread Lalit Mohan S
Dear All,

My 2 cents...

For training set, we need to take the help of experts, banks, regulators
and use available public datasets. Also, there are some research papers on
Fraud detection and other models, we need to connect with some of the
academic researchers as well.

I had some recent conversation with a manger at RBI(India's central bank),
he expressed interest to share his experiences and patterns that he
observed on how people (banks and customers) circumvent the rule based NPA
calculation. Not to be quoted elsewhere :)

regards
Lalit
