Hi Parabola developers. I was thinking that it would be a good idea to
add Tor browser into the Official repos. I know that nonprism is for

Shouldn't be -Syyuu instead of -Suuyy ?

Is this really an internal problem of Parabola? I say this because,
what if other distros adopt qt5-webengine? then it will become a
bigger problem not only for us, but for the other free distros too.
Maybe we should discuss this with the FSF and/or

Hi, as most of us may know, GRSecurity is now nonfree, and even Arch
Linux removed it from its repositories.
Now, they have created the linux-hardened kernel -->

which is only for

How could you mark a [community] package as outdated? BTW that pkg is on
version 2.36

Hi, just uploaded linux-libre-firmware to [libre-testing]
https://repomirror.parabola.nu/pool/parabola/linux-libre-firmware-4.11_gnu-1-any.pkg.tar.xz
I'll move it to [libre] when I upload linux-libre 4.11 to [libre], since
it is not stable enough. Note that the firmwares are not necessarily
derstand why this happens, because then when I update the
kernel it says that those files already exists in
other/linux-libre/logos (the solution is to remove the 'other' directory
from ~/staging/megver83/staging, but I don't want to do that *every

Don't know. You're right, it's non sense to re-upload those files, not
even a tarball of the patches and logos is generated (which is not
necessary BTW).

Hi, I just uploaded linux-libre-firmwares 4.11 to [libre-testing] as
linux-libre 4.11 is not stable enough. However, as these are just
firmwares, they should work well, but I didn't uploaded it to [libre]
because you know, it's better to prevent than regret.
Cheers.

I agree, I think that each branch should have its -testing, -multilib
and -multilib-testing directories too. For example, the abslibre.git
libre branch should have the libre, libre-testing, libre-multilib and
libre-multilib-testing directories. I liked the idea, and we could also
deprecate the

Yes, I do.
$ cat /etc/makepkg.conf | grep MAKEFLAG
#MAKEFLAGS="-j2"
Hi, as a package maintainer, I was thinking on why libremakepkg can't
compile multiple packages at the same time, because for me, as a
maintainer of some kernels, it would be much more efficient and fast if
I could do that. What I do is to compile with 2 different machines (one

I'll do a masive update for most kernels during the weekend, and move
linux-libre-firmware 4.11 to [libre]

Andreas, can you make a list of all packages with this license? Only the
Parabola ones, Arch ones are not under our control.

This is Why I say we should remove it, but IDK if there's someone who
still wants to keep it, in that case it can be moved to [kernels], but
we would just let it there rotting.
