Perhaps if the SCM was GIT instead of SVN it could be faster ?
It's not a short term solution but it can be another reason to use Git ASAP.

ITs are now very difficult to use/maintain and sadly are covering only the

Even if I understand Brian about the "why do we fix something not reported
as broken", I would better consider it as an improvement and not a fix.
Do we have to release a 3.1 just for this

Hi,
I'll vote a little bit later to do more tests.
Just a note about the release note, even if it isn't easier to do I think
it might be really useful to add a link to release notes of components we
upgraded like wagon, sisu or aether. I'm not sure that for all issues
solved in these projects
AFAIK we can do less things in Markdown than existing APT and others
For example Markdown doesn't allow to create tables. You have to include
pure HTML to do them.

We should use the "Editable Email Notification" instead of the "E-mail

will spam you for each errorneous/fixed module. The Editable is more
powerful and will notify you only once per job.

There was an integration with fisheye and our SVN before but I think that
Ben (aka Codehaus) had a lot of performances issues with it.
I found an old maven repo in fisheye but it is no more updated that's
probably why it isn't configured in the project :
https://fisheye.codehaus.org/changelog/maven
The only thing we should take care is to note the upgrade in the cahngelog
of each plugin updated as it could avoid the upgrade for some users using an
old maven version with Java 4 ?
