configuration APIs.
I have implemented this here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12519277/trinidad-skin-pregen-take4.patch
It is still possible to revert to the old naming strategy via this
internal context parameter:

Hey All -
Just wanted to send one more update...
I have incorporated some feedback from Blake and Jeanne and have
updated a new patch here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12519010/trinidad-skin-pregen-take3.patch
Hoping to check in soon.
Of course, if you have any comments

I am getting closer to finishing this work. A new (feature-complete)
patch is available here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12518405/trinidad-skin-pregen-take2.patch
Some more details on the new APIs…
The most interesting API is the uri structure for the skin

Just wanted to send out a heads up that I am working on a couple of
Trinidad skinning enhancements:
TRINIDAD-2234 Pregeneration of skin style sheets
TRINIDAD-2235 Skinning: stable names for generated style sheets
The goal is to add support for pregenerating Trinidad skin style sheet
Thanks for the responses!

+1 for netscape and IE4. I am also +1 on IE5, but I thought that
someone on this list was forced into using IE5.5 or something. I don't
think we support anything under IE6 in Trinidad though.

then this should be just fine.

Hi,
While working on the enhancement to port the skinning xss files to css I
noticed that in the base-desktop.xss file there are rules for netscape
and IE4 and IE5.
Can't I delete these? It will clean up the files and seems like a no
brainer.

The beach and purple skins are demos, not meant to be added to a user's app.
They are meant to showcase skinning features, like @rules, etc.
So when we add a new skinning feature, we add it to these skins to demo it.

Hi there,
I'd recommend turning off styleclass compression
(DISABLE_CONTENT_COMPRESSION flag in web.xml) and then using Firebug to
view the css. It's a great way to debug skinning.
These tips are in the Trinidad Skinning documentation.
