BTW - can we make this info available on EIS on regular basis, so you do not have to take action on it? Re: [dev] OOo 2.0.4 status meeting
Do you have minutes available from the meeting? This was a short meeting, so the status reflect (almost) all what was mentioned in the meeting. so if there will be more discussion than this time, you will find it in the status mail (aka meeting minutes), Martin - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[dev] [EN] Comment about the spell checker
Ma parole, mais il y a du monde, ici ... * I was pointing the fact that the French version of Ooo is sent without a French spell-checker, and, more problematic, that if you do not know about it, if you ask a spell-check, you are answered that it is done, supposing there is no mistake, even if you willingly inserted two or three mistakes per word. Gilles informed me the absence of spell checker is due to a problem of license -this surprised me as I had nothing to pay to get the spell-checker once I downloaded it. He added that a few matters like that arise after installing Ooo (fonts, styles, anchors ...), and proposes to organize meetings with users to point out the different things to do after installing. As I already have different meetings to attend for different other problems that we could classify as politics, supposing I am not alone in this case I proposed these matters could also be presented on a HTML page that could be proposed besides the download -e.g. the download sites often propose to add a comment to a software they propose for download. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[dev] OpenXML support in OpenOffice.org
Hi everyone, I am the project leader of the ODF Add-in for Word 2007 project. It is an Open Source project hosted on SourceForge (https://sourceforge.net/projects/odf-converter/) that aims at providing ODF support in Word. At the begining of the project, we chose to work with XSL transformations that would be independant from the application that would use them (currently there are only two of them: a Windows command line tool and an Add-in for Word 2007). Those transformations are likely to be usable in OpenOffice.org to open and save OpenXML (docx) files. To do this, there should only be some rewriting of the pre and post-processings in Java or C++ (the current implementation is using C#). The project is still at its early stage (we released a first prototype last week), but it already allows converting an ODT file to a DOCX file. The reverse conversion is planed for the end of this year. We're developing it under a BSD-like license that won't prevent anyone from reusing our code in other projects. Please inform me wether you might be interested in joining the team to speed up the developments in order to integrate them into OpenOffice.org. [dev] unable to build openoffice for x86_64
I use Mandriva 2006 x86_64 and i also have some x86 rpms installed since they are needed to run some programs like wine that only exists for 32 bits, so its normal that i have the 64 bit libraries installed in /usr/lib64 and the 32 bit libraries installed in /usr/lib. So far i have managed to build all programs fine, some with more dificulty its true, but in the end they all are packaged, now with openoffice-2.0.3 (ooc680-m6) in x86_64 its another talk... In the error ill paste you can see that it searches in /usr/lib instead /usr/lib64, im also attaching the file config.log for all configure details.
