Hi James!
Thanks for the PR and good goal -- anytime there are jar file names in code,
it's a code smell. I say that having broken that rule myself.
On the PR, my memory of that usage of Class.forName is that looks in the system
classpath only and is a repeat source of disappointment. As the
Very cool Gabriel that you are starting to contribute :) I am from
Florianópolis where the main office of Softplan is. Maybe we can meet in

Thanks Dani, would be amazing if this PR makes it to the M3. I really need
a new feature from MP 1.2.0 that is in CXF 3.3.0 :)

polling-client sample. That because we had a different version declared in
the project's pom.xml.
Green BUILD and PR updated and good to go.
Btw, can you explain more your thought James?
I really didn't get why JAXB is related with that
Go for it. The permissions are restricted to try and get people on the list
working together. Cesar is doing exactly that.

PR 416
I'm not sure I quite follow the ConfigSource approach. I was thinking it
would need to be done in enhanceScannableUrls to avoid the JARs being
scanned in the first place. I don't think setting the .active for metrics
and opentracing is enough. Do you think that is possible?

Cool!
Did you have a PR for that?
For the tomee.mp.scan per context, have a look here:
org.apache.openejb.server.rest.RESTService#deployApplication
PojoUtil.findConfiguration(pojoConfigurations, "jaxrs-application”); should
look into the openejb-jar with a new pojo deployment like

We also have documentation translation going on. So far the community is

Hi Roberto, fyi, I've solved the issue of using filenames for
enhanceScannableUrls. I changed left your approach intact and is still used
for "mp-common" and if you need to add any files in future. But for all
other MP JARs, I switched it to use your list of MP fully-qualified
extensions class

Ok, looks like things have updated on prod now. Sorry for the noise. I'd be

Ok, looks like the tomee-site-production is commented out in r998734 in
https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/infrastructure/buildbot/aegis/buildmaster/master1/projects/tomee.conf.
There's comment of "# see scheduler", but I don't know what that means.
I have no idea how we publish the site from
Also, I notice on the exception above it's coming from openejb code here...
with the comment "// TODO: drop when we get a fully supporting java 9
version of CXF"
As CXF 3.3.0 supports Java 11, this implies this the call should be removed
completely and should resolve the above exception.
Awesome thanks James

This update should probably also be aligned or include the JAXB update ->
Jakarta EE Maven coordinates because CXF does that too.
I have already done some work on the JAXB. There are several pom.xml
dependency updates and exclusion changes just for JAXB (it affects
activation.jar too).
