It failed because QFormBuilder is no longer available. Then I noticed that the

any reason for the application not to quit (if quitOnLastWindowClosed is
true)? I think it should quit, and then applying [1] would be enough.

The forward porting doesn't seem to have happened much, so if you are a
maintainer please look through patches in modules you care about and forward
port them yourself. I've just done so for src/gui/itemviews.
