Yes, there had been a considerable jump in activity on the less
traveled digital modes. I get the same responses as you do about RSID
and it just works.

The DM780 DominoEX is the same as FLDIGI as the code was 'borrowed' from the
fldigi sources.
Off the top of my head I can't remember about FEC.

This idea was originally developed by Patrick Lindecker, F6CTE. The
Reed-Solomon ID (RSID) is a short 16-tone MFSK transmission which identifies
the mode in use. The RSID transmission is about 180Hz wide and lasts for

I have noticed the same increase Tony, nice to see. I wonder if we should
redefine suggested calling frequencies for the non-PSK31/RTTY CQ and keep
people away from JT65A frequencies and ALE frequencies . Seems to me that
the complicated suggestions for Olivia QSOs are no longer needed. ?

YES! I also have seen a huge increase in the exotic modes. I had the
voice announce turned on and it scared the crap outta me the first time because
I had forgotten about it, hi. RSID makes recognizing and tuning in other
