I have a question for the users of DM780. Is option to enable FEC for DominoEX? If this option is available, has anyone had any success in the mode being detected via RSID? 73 phiw de ka1gmn

This idea was originally developed by Patrick Lindecker, F6CTE. The Reed-Solomon ID (RSID) is a short 16-tone MFSK transmission which identifies the mode in use. The RSID transmission is about 180Hz wide and lasts for just less than two seconds. You should enable RSID when using an 'exotic'

I have noticed the same increase Tony, nice to see. I wonder if we should redefine suggested calling frequencies for the non-PSK31/RTTY CQ and keep people away from JT65A frequencies and ALE frequencies . Seems to me that the complicated suggestions for Olivia QSOs are no longer needed. ? How
