That message could be helpful as it says the crash could be due to MP3
tag parsing.
It would be better to run slimserver from a command prompt with a few
debugging flags enabled such as d_scan and d_info - that way you will
get a more complete list of message on the console.

My SqueezeBox 3 has stopped playing!
Odd problem this; everything was OK untill I started messing around

Reason: Asterisk v1.2 can use a utility called StreamPlayer to stream
raw TCP output that will allow SlimServer to, well - serve, as the MOH
provider for that PBX system without having to use MPG123

I play WMA Lossless. Running 6.5 beta3. SB3 Firmware upgraded
accordingly.
My music is constantly being cut off in the middle of a song. Usually

I loaded iTunes 7 and everything seemed fine.
Added some new tracks (wav's converted to mp3's in iTunes, I know I
shouldn't do that for quality reasons but I did, and a CD rip) and then
set SlimServer to rescan for new and changed music. Didn't find any of
the new files.

compromise - and there is no point implementing a perfect solution for
a lossy format.

none of them acceptable.

to 8k on the stream from SlimServer (can't get much better

Just as an aside, the v2.4 tags don't seem to work in SS or Windows.
I've gone back to v2.3 as Windows likes that. Just asking SS to rescan
the library directly has now at least brought the library back up and
it all seems correct.

My address changed for some reason. The address should match the MAC
address printed on sticker under the SB3. Go to current settingsMAC
