And regarding the AC/DC and the / issue I'v tried to retag all to ACDC
and AC DC but still I get the same result.
I've never been quite sure what a machine has to watch to stop it
sleeping. I thought hard drive activity should be enough, but it
doesn't always seem to be.
Anyway, if needed the thing can be done with a few components.
Get a program called Jiggler (free) that stops the machine sleeping
while
Compiled Jive on my debian box and it seems so much snappier than the
web interface, so a desktop Jive application with control buttons and
rearranged interface would be very nice.

by SlimServer was in response to my screensavers refreshing
(SuperDateTime and RSS News Ticker). There was some occasional MySQL

If you mean that you want to set the brightness to zero in that mode,
then you can turn it off, then use the brightness button on the remote
to adjust.
There will still be a very slight glow, so if that is what is bothering
you then you may be out of luck - unplugging the PSU will work!

As a digital transport,
Just picked up a SB3 for my office. I have it wired directly to a router
issueing DHCP and analog out to a receiver all tucked away in a server
closet. No need for internal networking since I am controlling it from
my workstation via SN. Setup went perfectly, and it started playing my
favorites
I have yet to find a release date stated anywhere. Is this known?

i bit the bullet and bought the a2's and if they're as good as they
say, i'll have a set of a5's by the end of the week for another room.
one thing on a review troubled me. set the equalizer etc as the
bass was considered a bit too much for some.
i can't see it anyway on sc7 but can the

The SB3 has a 24 bit DAC. If your music is 16 bit (e.g., FLAC copies of
audio CDs), you've got a fair bit of room for adjustment before there's
any data loss/degradation. You might check out

I'm not sure which method you're using the generate the m3u files - if
you create them as playlists inside the mixer first, you can
right-click and set the Extended option to save them with EXTM3U
data. If you do File/Save As Playlist, those should also be in
extended format.

It looks like Naxos is similar to the Magnatune record company in that
they are opening up their entire catalog for streaming.
What you could do is copy the URL of one of the streams and enter it
into the Tune In URL text box in SlimServer.
Of course, that's a lousy way to explore their whole

1) Fire it up
2) If the screen is blank, hit New
3) You should now have a window with a list of networks. Sort by the
Signal+ column, now they're arranged in order of signal strength.
4) Look at the Chan column, this is the channel
