I've just upgraded from Slimserver 6.3 to 7.0 unstable. The server

Currently I'm running the latest SS 6.5.x on Ubuntu 7.04. I want to
upgrade to SC7. My thought is to do the following:
1) Completely uninstall SS 6.5 and remove the SS directories.
2) Upgrade Ubuntu to 7.10 in place.
3) Install the SC7 bits and any new plug-ins.

I'm having an intermittent problem with my new SB3 - every once
in a while (sometimes once a week, sometimes twice a day) I get
the message Rebuffering 1% (or 2%) ... and the SB3 hangs at this

Just to clarify, I don't have any SBs (yet). As I understand the

With the Duet and new Controller, I don't think there is any reason to
go w/Sonos. $400 for first room v. $1k; $150 for subsequent rooms
v.$400. Comparable sound (I think SB is better, but it is debatable)
and vastly more functionality for SB. I don't even really think the
Sonos is that much
You may be misreading the order page - it's a little confusing.
Duet can be preordered, but not the controller and receiver
separately.

my 4th gen and 6th gen ipod in sync with my FLAC collection.
I use to do the perl script method of keeping FLAC and MP3 copies in

Right, players don't talk to each other, only the server. In order to
share a single Rhapsody connection, the server would need to talk
directly to Rhapsody, and this is not possible because our server is
open source.
