iMac was hooked up wirelessly...but they say they recommend wiring your
Squeezecenter and soonce i did it...everything worked real well.

My beta controller has this problem too. No big deal (it was free as was
the regular one) but it is useful to have a spare with four
music-enabled rooms and the tree-hugger in me hates to not be able to
fix an otherwise fine piece of equipment.

Almost.
This is a skin, not a plugin, so if you want to use the iPeng
instructions, you have to use this one or it won't work:
the duet handset had been working perfect, then suddenly the volume
controls don't work (the web interface controls still change the
volume). Anyone have any ideas, is it just me being a numbat and
somehow deactivated it?? thanks for any ideas.

It overrides similar rules in convert.conf.
I am not sure what happens when there are multiple custom-convert.conf
which override the same rule as there can be custom-convert.conf with
each Plugin as well as one in the server directory.

decided to use v7.0.1 instead of 7.2 on my new Duet. With SC 7.2 (and
7.1 apparently), the digital outputs remain on when the receiver is

Because wave-files are now just 'scrolling' file1,file2,file3and so

I don't understand why the music bits sellers don't get this. They have
to be cheaper than Amazon or massively easier. I just put
IIRC from following the bug, the reason it's not trivial is that it has
to be done without using significant extra battery power.

the display... They are barely visible... Is this a sign of a faulty

Power supply - same wall wart as a squeezebox
Disk controller - NONE
The idea woul be to use the NAS as the disk drive for the squeezecenter
box, or to have the option of adding a USB drive.

Thenks for the post, I never knew the Olive Music Server and the Yamaha
existed (Opus), however I think they are solutions in search of a
problem. The problem is not ripping the music, or storing on a hard
drive; computers do an excellent job of that, and anything less is a
compromise.
