What you need is port forwarding. And if you are using Softsqueeze or a

The machine that is hosting SqueezeCenter needs to have a static IP

Yeah, something is very wrong with your system and it likely has little

One thing that a separate OS partition gives you is the ability to

After the upgrade my squeezebox will play my Rhapsody and internet radio
but it apparantly does not see my own music library. It just has
options for Rhapsody library and the MP3musictunes library. Anybody
know what the issue could be?

prior to the 7.3 upgrade, i was on 7.2.1 on osx 10.5.5 using ipeng 1.3
i can get to the now playing screen. if i try to do virtually anything
with other menus it almost immediately crashes. it also crashes just
staying on the now playing screen.

During any part of the install did it give you an error message and tell
you to ignore, abort or retry? If so, let me know and I'll tell you
what I did to get around it.
One other thing to always try is download the update again and try
loading that one. Sometimes the download gets corrupted.

I run under Linux, so this may not apply, but I had to delete my
database to get 7.3 to start. Initially it would run and put nothing in
the logs, after I rebooted it complained about the database, so I
removed the database, it rebuilt and has been working well.

i had your app working nicely on my itouch an then i update to 7.3
now ipeng crashes on everything. i can only get it to work for a few

any ideas? I've flushed the cache within the app. should i flush my

Yeah, the only way to sync radio streams is to have the players synced.
Playing the stream separately on 2 players will not work.

My guess would be different buffering levels on the players, potentially
due to different network speeds at their 2 locations? Also could be
something more esoteric like the two players being hooked up to
different servers on the BBC side or something like that.

They shouldn’t! It’s just the »perfect« box for some setups.
What I really believe is that the signed editions are just the last
ones with the original »slim devices« logo on the front (it’s
»Logitech« now). These are going to be real collector’s items
