Cheers chaps. The Analyze filter only found three tracks and when I try to write the tags I receive an error saying the file cannbot be written to disk (??!!). My problem was the opposite. The MIP tags are definitely in the files but the MIP gui does not show the PUID, the field is blank. I only

my 2 cents... RG is the bomb. i applied it to thousands of tracks/albums at a time unattended with winamp, np at all. i then have SBS and winamp use the tags on playback, and it works very well. i know of no problems whatsoever with smartgain or SBS scanning the tag value incorrectly. (there

I wonder if there are some configuration data migration issues going across a huge jump across versions? If you feel adventerous, rather than upgrading you might try uninstalling 6.5.4, clearing out all of the slimserver directories (escpecially the cache directory), and then install 7.4.x. ***
