Well, I mainly wanted to point out what you can do. The advertising
itself (by Sonos) is bullshit.
I have finally got the MySQL service running and I can get in to
SqueezeServer. However none of my music is showing up and when I try to
initiate a scan, it won't scan. There are no files in the music library
and it won't scan for some reason.

I have tried running perl scanner.pl with version 7.3.3 and it works
fine. However if I try to run it with 7.4.2 I get these errors.

Yes, I have done that. I have also found the problem with the
Scanner.pl. From here

I found that
With the server running, I ran perl scannerl.pl --rescan j:\test and
it scanned the music and it shows up in the web interface now. I just
have to find out why the scanner.pl file is not being executed.

make sure MySQL is run even when you don't start SBS. The scanner won't start
MySQL.

Yes if you click on the On-Line store there are no products, but if you
go to the Products page and choose a product, if it is available there
is a pane
I would add that Logitech has announced that they have stopped producing
the SB3/Classic. So they and resellers are selling out what stock they
have, and then that's it. However, they have *not *given any indication
that the SB Duet Receiver is being discontinued. Its absence on the

(classic).
What was the SB2? Was that the wireless version of the Squeezebox?

The SB2 looks almost exactly the same as an SB1/SB1G, like a $10 alarm

This depends a lot on the rest of the seller's description. If it was
described as non-working or parts-only then you would have no
expectation of getting your money back.
However, if the listing implied it was a working unit (by
docs are a bit dense, but everything you need is in there.

You can't have player-specific favorites, but with the Boom and SB Radio
you can have player-specific preset buttons. That's one of the nice
additions that often gets overlooked in all the kvetching about 7.4.x.

longer showing up in the web interface. I was wondering if this is
something new and planned, a bug, or just some setting that I can't seem

Even easier than Mnyb's suggestion, just look at the bottom. If it just
says Squeezebox, then it's a SB1. SB2 will have Squeezebox 2 on the
sticker :)
