Wow - trying to replace the original for the time being - but it's an
awful fit. Is there a secter for sliding it back in - mine still has
2-3mm to go (I can tell from the position of the notch and the
semicircular cut outs on the sides) but I can't budge it . . . .

Hi all,
I'm starting to get a little frustrated with one area of my squeezebox
experience. SS is installed on a QNAP 119-TS, running the latest
versions of SSOTS and SS. Everything works great - my players are
responsive and almost everything seems to work as expected.

Did you see the link in my post earlier in this thread? It should list
all the ports necessary... you need more than just 9000.
I don't think 9090 is necessary though.

You will probably also need to open port 3483 (TCP UDP) besides port

Oh yes, I did have to redo my paths, but I migrated from an external
harddrive to the WHS and so I just changed E:\ to \\myserver\ as I kept
the same directory structure so it was very easy.

I have a SB3, and the Duet (controller plus receiver).
The controller and sb server see the SB3, but they do not see the
receiver. I've tried power cycling the receiver, and it goes through
the lights cycle that complete its connection to the network.

If you are streaming through the internet, I would suggest you to
consider setting up connection through ssh rather than just opening the
ports on your router. You are running into serious security risks. If
people gain access to your squeezeboxserver, they could do a lot of
harm.

Does anyone know were I can get one from? I tested my broken unit with a
working board and it is fine. So I believe the problem lies with the
