My specific issues at the time weren't really the point. Anyway FWIW, changing my Slimp3 config from a manually selected Squeezebox server to a full automatically selected server + DHCP fixed the drop out issue. I guess sometimes a reset works wonders, that probably goes for me too. --

It would help to know what type of Squeezebox you're talking about. For the SB Radio or Boom you need to turn the device on to set the alarm, and in that sense the built-in speakers will be powered on. Even so, they won't necessarily make any sound. If you disable the Radio's beeps and blurps

Win7 64bit McAfee Security Center 10.5 SBS 7.5.2b iPeng 1.2.7 iOS 4.1 ok, i doubt this is iPengs fault, but i had it working and now it isn't working. the computer is ethernet to router 192.168.1.2 and the iPod is wireless, 192.168.1.5 when i run squeezeplay on the computer, it works fine.

So you guys will probably hear this today... There is no Squeezebox support in version 1.0 of the Revue. There is a basic DLNA media player. I believe Squeezebox player support may come in a future update. It is not likely to ever be used as a Squeezebox Server.

Some of our machines here at work run extremely slow if IPv6 isn't removed from their IP stacks - our routers and switches haven't been set up to handle it yet, Nor the Nameservers. Also you might want to check for fragmentation due to MTU (Packet size) fragmentation. ...just some stabs at it.

Per the Logitech website pictures, there is no separate audio out, thus unless you have a stereo system that accepts HDMI, you can't connect directly to a sound system, only a TV. The new Apple TV has a separate optical out for audio. Was expecting more from Logitech. -- mortslim
