I just ran into bug 1397/10777 on my Classic. The bug note for 10077 is
marked "won't fix" and states that "[w]e do not plan to implement any
further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or which are targeted
specifically at ip3k-based products." It still works, but don't expect

what do you mean?
i just enable it via the webui settings>advanced page.
i think it works great as is, but it prob could use more than just
on/off, (to be even better).

Porting SlimCtrl to win phone 7 requires a considerable investment.
(new programming environment and time)
And the download rate does not quite motivate this step.

Yes, the Radio can connect to MySqueezeBox.com and be used in standalone
mode.
If you power on the Radio for the first time, it will ask you for the
WLAN credentials and, once you are connected successfully to the WLAN,
it will ask you to create a MSB.com account.
Afterwards, it is ready to play.
