Thanks Ron. I'll go explore their website. It's simply amazing how
much good entertainment is available across the globe these days. I
feel my life is enriched by hearing perspectives from other lands as I
shelter by my log fire in my little valley surrounded by Scottish
farmland.

Hi,
I have set up VPN on my Windows 7 (SBS) PC and my Android device
connected instantly and SqueezePlayer pickedup the connection as well,
streaming works over 3G. Very easy.
But Squeezecommander seems to have a problem connectiong through this
VPN connection(I know it's not your software).
With the free Logitech App out there I don't think there really is a
growing market and porting something so heavy on UI as iPeng would mean
a complete re-write.
I hope flattermann shows up again (I'm actually somewhat concerned
about this being something serious, too), his App still has the best

Yes, I tried configuring manual server i SqueezeCommander (SC) using the
IP assigned to my phone via VPN, but SC doesn't connect.
And Yes, Logitech's App doesn't autodetect it either.
I guess i'll try some of the other apps or connectbot as you mentioned.

If you do decide to go with powerline adapters, I just installed 2 pair
of these from Monoprice and they have been working great. They are
about half the price of Netgear and other brands.

If you have any problem with the powerlines, I went with MoCA, using the
coax that runs through the house. Not a hiccup...

Hi,
I am owning an iPad for 1 week now and installed Squeezepad today. I

Hi DITC101
the current version does not provide any means to do what you want.
The next version to be released in about two weeks might give you an
easy workaround, we should talk about this topic when it has been
released :)

There should be some kind of setting that lets you pick between

- B only
- G only
Usually this is under 'setup' or 'wireless setup' somewhere.
That said, I'm not sure this makes much difference when there isn't a B
device.

Well, this is a general issue, isn't it? Provide eternal power to any
device and you can have stuff running all the time and give you
immediate access.
And then, of course, don't use your iThingies for other things...
