Aren't the SB2 and Classic basically the exact same hardware in a
different form factor, using the same firmware?
If that is the case, and one works but the other doesn't, that sounds
like like some kind of device failure - perhaps a factory reset or
Xilinx reset will fix it.

to assume that Logitech is gonna introduce a new Squeezebox in a near

The catch-22 here is that logitech doesn't announce future new products.

has a PCMCIA slot which will take a 32GB card with an adapter. The
system works OK, I guess, complete with display,but I don't see any
obvious reason that Mercedes couldn't install some version of

Mp3's along with being able to stream Bluetooth which allows you to
listen to LastFm, Pandora and the music files on your phone. I justed
ordered the Pioneer DEH P9400BH for my car. Along with HD radio.
