Unfortunately nothing in the server.log related to the jammed track.

It was set to "Enable smart crossfade". Now I try to disable it and see

I simply go to "Random Mix -> Random Songs" and play songs randomly from
a selected genre.
I seriously doubt it's the FLAC file

Tidal streams mostly FLAC too.

No, there isn't one. In the old days, people tended to post Transporter
specific postings in the "audiophile" forum. If you have questions that

They're all pretty shotty though. They record

That limits my question to ways to do a squeezebox PA system outside of
using airplay.

My primary reason for not switching is that I want an AirPlay option,
and Squeezelite + Shairtunes plugin works for that.
Secondary reason is cost. Even though they are only $30-ish, I have 8
zones running that only cost $7/each for USB soundcards. That's $56 I
won't get back, plus the $240 for
To my post above: Now it seems it might be related to the internal sound
card of my fitpc2, since I also cannot play back anything. Usually I use
a USB-DAC, so I never realized I don't get any signal through the
analogue out. And this might influence the same soundcard's input...
I'm not even sure what to search for, so forgive the new thread. I'd
like to be able to speak into my iPhone and out of a squeezebox player.
One use case would be during a BBQ, letting my guests know that food is
ready through my outdoor loud speakers.
The only idea I have right now is to use
Hi kipeta,
this is related to my wave input question on FB. I have installed as
suggested the Wavinput plugin to check if it does what I want, and in
theory it does. I know you haven't used this plugin, but maybe you have
still an idea:
The plugin has not much configuration, only pointing to the

Well, why not? I mean this could be something like a daily import
and you simply configure
If it could create a playlist it runs more or less in the background.
Once it is finished the user could save it and create a nice archive
like mylastfm-favtracks-sep-2016 etc.

That said: I think the idea behind the Last.fm thing, at least for me,
would be to keep track of music _independent_ of the service you use so
when you switch from Spotify to TIDAL (or... more likely... from TIDAL
to something else soon...) you can keep your favorites
Understood. LastMix
That build is from end of July. Are there any commits after that date
that might fixed this issue?

Well, we've done this a few years ago with our demo ickStream controller
using LMS as a source, but that wasn't about adding it to the library
itself but just combining the view of different libraries, something one
could do with LMS if just there was a decent search within services.
I've planned

My guess is you could match LastFM tracks to LMS tracks. A list like
Random Albums with Favorite Last FM Albums/Artist or Tracks.
Or a list
There's no such thing as banning on last.fm, is there? I can't find any
related API all for that. There's "unlike", but that's not banning.

Really? Was that just
But for all other applications: since in most applications you are using
class-D amps anyway these days you can do away with a lot of lossy
analog signal handling if you go digital these days.
In the past the limiting factor was the need for a digital deceive
creating the input bitstream for the
Yes. Saves a lot of power compared to DAC+amp which is pretty important
on mobile.
That said... It performs better if you can adapt the filter used to the
(known) speaker so it's a more likely candidate for built-in speakers
and digital headphones.
For the adapter I'm wondering whether you really

I just updated to Logitech® Media Server v7.9.0-161.1096, unfortunately
the problem still persists... still
I've just been reading up on using a D class amp and driving the
switching with the bitstream, rather than DAC+amp. I guess that is what
you were talking about earlier ?
Sounds like a definite possibility.
Yes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes, SoftSqueeze as well. What ?
I SAID ALL OF THEM !
