No you'll need to tell Windows explicitly that LMS is a good
application. IIRC the LMS firewall entry is made as part of the install
process, after you delete you need to manually add a "new rule" for a

I have subscribed to both and there are things I like about both. When
spotify stopped their direct support for LMS, I switched to Deezer just

Well, that won't do it. You'll have to update. FLAC support was only

best approach but if you cant for whatever reason then you could
manually give it a static IP outside of the dhcp range.
How you do this depends on the os that LMS is running on.
You do however need to access the router to che

An intermiitent problem with windows a few ago used to be that when LMS
was updated, you had to delete the old LMS from Windows Firewall
"trusted applications" and then re-add LMS again so WIndows processes
the new version (e.g. make a checksum to validate against LMS being
modified by malware).
This morning, I have enabled the windows firewall so it blocks all
public networks. I have NOT turned it on for home networks, and the SB
is still working perfectly.
I have not as yet uninstalled AVAST which, upon closer inspection, does
not have a firewall. The firewall comes with the paid vers
