Good news! Hopefully this works for me and others, I'm actually getting
a new server this week which I'll be putting 7.6.1 on so I can compare
to my other server which runs 7.5.3
I'm afraid the problem persists for me. 7.6.1 and Desire HD.

I believe iPeng has recently included ability to stream Soundcloud
streams - is there any chance of implementing this is Squeezecommander?

Gapless and crossfade are different - which do you want? Gapless works
with FLAC and with MP3s encoded with recent versions of Lame. Other
codecs or Lame versions won't give you gapless on an SB.
Gapless also works on a SB with OGG and (I think) WAV.

I'd personally be very interested in a version of the Vortexbox without
a CD ripping drive. I rarely rip CDs anymore now my whole collection is
done, so I'm happy doing them on my laptop. Therefore anything that can
keep the price and size down is a positive in my book.

It's definitely 128kbps in the UK. It sounds ok, not brilliant, but

poor...

This is fairly straightforward to do in foobar. Load the cuesheet into
foobar, select all tracks, right click and then select Convert. It
should be fairly self-explanatory from there.
