Technically not a good idea, as you will be effectively shorting
together the L and R outputs - it probably won't, but MIGHT damage the
player's output drivers.
You need at least a passive mixer in the cable, with a resistor in each

It's -possible- your SB3 is playing from SqueezeNetwork, and NOT your

Is your SB3 connected wirelessly, or wired?

You might have found if not a bug, then an inconsistency between
SqueezeCenter and SqueezeNetwork, Chris.
On -SqueezeNetwork-, the time displays as 6:50 pm - i.e. lower case
pm, but SC doesn't seem to do that, insisting on upper case.

Well, I tried (yesterday) BBC Radios 2, 3 and 4 and More Info showed
64kbps for all of them.
However... TODAY, I can't get More info to display the rate for any

So I might be getting 96?? Can't tell!

Do neither work?

That works (i.e. gives the Squeezebox a name it uses itself - also
visible to SN) but it's obviously not quite fully DHCP/IP legal (or
even visible) as the name still doesn't appear in the Attached
Devices list (on my Netgear DG823N router, anyway).
