I know it's a long shot, but any SqueezeAMPs left? I'd love one.

And just to finish off this thread...
I ended up installing LMS on an old Win 10 box I have. The Linux box was
my first choice - see above - but my son may be reclaiming that
machine.
The Win 10 box is plenty powerful; an i7 with 16 gigs of ram - it feels
a little silly to be devoting it to

I've been running it on an ancient Mac Mini, which tops out at 10.6.8.
It's no chore to move to something more modern, either a Windows 10
machine, a current Mint Linux box or an OS X Mac that's a couple of
generations old. Any preference among them?
tks,

I know this comes up periodically on the forums, and I've done some
reading, but have yet to find an unambiguous answer: after several years
of flawless operation, LMS has stopped showing my apps.
Yes, I logged back in using the tab under settings in LMS, and yes I
restarted the hardware

I finally got the RPi back on wireless tonight. But that was only after

Thanks. Will do.

That's my next thought. What do I need to do to disable the internal
wifi? I'm ok with editing the configuaration files.
tks,

Well, not so much.
I'm not a wizard but I'm also not terrible when it comes to computers
and networking. I put in some quality time last night and again tonight
with the Orbi admin software and I see neither any 'smart' features - or
anything that might fill the bill -nor any way to assign
Thank you! Will poke around the router software some more...

Since my Squeezebox Classic is out of commission waiting for a new wall
wart, I decided to move my piCorePlayer to the family room, where my
main system lives. Unfortunately, at the same time I upgraded my wifi to
cure some long-standing problems in my home. The cure worked, but my new
This (bad wall warts) must be a fairly common problem. My long-running
SB Classic refused to come back to life this week after I made some
changes to my home network. I brought it into my office, plugged it into
a known good power supply and it worked.
I would never get rid of a Classic
I'm grateful to all mentioned - and especially Michael - and let me add
a small note of thanks to the various services who have stuck with the
platform despite the limited market. I still use Pandora, Classical

I've got a V.3 that's developed the weak channel problem on the analog
outs. I'm working around it with a DAC, but would like to restore this
thing to complete health - and I don't trust my soldering skills to do
the work myself.
Does anyone know of a repair person/shop that does the

Got up this morning to the right channel on my SB3 significantly quieter
than the left. After quick troubleshooting and a look here, I see it's a
known problem, requiring the replacement of some caps. (The SB3 is at
least a decade old.)
But I also have an old SPDIF DAC, so I dug it out,
So here's a question: the company that developed the T amp went under a
decade ago.
Where are all the "class T" chips coming from in 2017? Checking the web
site of Cirrus Logic, which bought the intellectual property of Tripath,
shows no sign of the chips being available new.

I still have my SB 3 - and use it some - with my main/family room
stereo, an NAD receiver, a set of PSB speakers, an Oppo universal
player.
That said, my daughter bought me a set of Sonos Play:1 speakers for my
60th birthday and it utterly changed my listening life. I suppose if you

I know this is a ridiculous and retrograde idea, but I'd love to see a
SB with a quality am/fm tuner, and perhaps the ability to time shift
programming.
Unlike most of you, I view my SBs as primarily radio by other means.

Anyone know anything new about the CBC app, or has it operating? I see
some threads from last year outlining problems with CBC play in
general.
I installed it the other day, but trying to play CBC 1 or 2 yields a
message saying there is no content.

Sirius's site for online listening. I can use 'Pulsar'
to access SXM online.
But I can't get the Squeezebox app to verify me - it tells me I must
have a premium account, which I have.
Thoughts?
