Got my controller yesterday too - the battery was sufficiently charged
to have it working straight out of the box :)
Only issue I have so far is that it takes a while to scroll down the
artist/album list to the middle of the alphabet...

my duet has left germany and is currently winging it's way to me for
delivery tomorrow - ordered Monday with just normal shipping. My CC has
