FIXED! The problem was solved after I emailed support, this was the suggested fix and it worked - It sounds like you may be running into a version conflict between your old and new Slimservers. Try the following: * Uninstall Slimserver from the Add/Remove Programs box in Control Panels *

Using 6.2.2 and F/W 48 my SB3 constantly seems to drop off, the music stops and the display goes blank. When I try to wake it up it says waking up slimserver but often doesnt connect. Sometimes if I ping the SB3 from the slimserver it all wakes up and works again at the first ping, but often

It seems that if I use any fimrware after 28 I see this problem! SB2 plays one song then the display just freezes, can't do anything using remote (other than turn it off) or via web interface. -- MrP MrP's Profile:

The router I'm using D-Link DSL-G604T with the firmware 00B02T02.UK.20041126 Another thing I've just noticed since going back to FW 28 is that when I turn off the SB2 the date/time is no longer displayed just a blank screen! I'm still using the 6.2.2 software which seems to working fine.

Have you checked the brightness setting when off ? Sometimes this defaults to 0 (i.e. dark) which confuses people who think the SB is off. Try hitting brightness a couple of times on the remote. If that does the job, go into player settings and change it to 1/2/3/4. I seem to recall when
