Your symptoms are identical to a number of (5?) users who have same
issue and have contributed to the "Transporter-Not-Playing" thread
https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110057-Transporter-Not-Playing
It maybe worth joining that thread, in case someone has new
information.
With
For completeness - STM meanings. STMs - means player has started
playing a track, STMt is a regular status response like a pulse.
Code:
# event types:
# vfdc - vfd received
# i2cc - i2c command recevied
# STMa - AUTOSTART
Below is a log from my SB3 and shows how a "normal" stream starts.
Compared to your stream - the autostart doesn't happen even though data
has been received - your log is cut off so don't know whether your
fullness reaches threshhold. Last reported "fullness=3142761".
Key points.

How do I do logging of slimproto? I have searched for it by several
terms but I get a multitude of examples where it has been used but I
have not been able to dig down to where the original instructions are.

If Joe - JoeMuc2009 is Johannes Franke then I have already been in
contact with him through his blog:

Thank you for the hint about the firmware 7.7. I will go see what I can

If you want to check hardware, I suggest get in contact with Joe (maybe
PM JoeMuc2009) - he has been helping users repair Squeezebox devices and
has good h/w knowledge of Transporter.

IIRC The Transporter SE was launched after the Transporter when part for
the haptic knob were no longer available.,
The firmware was probably modified to allow for "missing" knob.
The SE was launched around Dec 2011 so I'd suggest server software
should be a minimum of 7.7.*

I agree that it is probably not a firmware issue. I also see that the
reset and xilinx reset do not clear out all previous settings. It is
very possible that some setting is creating my issue and I was trying to
revert to earlier firmware in hopes of returning to a clean slate.
So far I have:
By the way, is there a special way to get access to:
svn.slimdevices.com/repos/slim/7.6/trunk/server/Changelog7.html

But I believe you're wasting your time trying to chase a firmware
garym,
Right you are. It opened very nicely in Google Chrome. I usually use
Firefox which gives a weird Username and Password dialog box. I only
feel slightly dumb. It is the cost of not wanting Google in all my
business.

I found this link in my readings and I wanted to see what the changes
were to the firmware.

Looks like LMS 7.6 is when firmware 87 came in for the transporter. So
if you installed prior versions you'd get earlier firmware. when you
click on the items in the link i provided for firmware, you see this
sort of info.

Not sure, but Transporter firmware hasn't changed in maybe 10 or
Is there a list anywhere of the different firmware versions versus

It shows a title under "Now Playing" for the various music I selected
from various sources. On my server the time elapses but on the
Transporter the time stays at 0:00 whether it is an internet radio

To be clear, it doesn't show as if playing, with song/stream under now
playing and you simply don't hear the audio. Instead it never shows the
playing item in its display.
try xlinx reset:
1. remove power to the transporter
2. press the 1 (one) key on the remote
3. while pressing the one key,
I just got a Transporter SE that was not working. It did not turn on at
all. I put in a new PowerPax SW3376 power supply board and everything
lights up great. I have gotten it linked to my squeezebox account and by
both displays work fine. (Left and right,) but it won't play music. It

Hi All
I'm trying to resolve a problem with my Transporter. It refuses to play
some flac files that previously it played fine.
The progress bar on Ipeng is moving but there is no output at all from
the transporter. The VU meters do not move. After about 20 seconds or so
the track restarts, but
26 matches
