As mentioned earlier in the thread, the manual update (holding the back

First things first. Now it's broken, so it must be fixed.
The suggestion about another squeezecenter is interesting - it sounds
as if the revision of local sc servers and the rev of the controller
updates are somehow married - how and why is that? If the controller

Note that the back button and manual update trick did not help at least
in my case.
However, is it so that some controllers have successfully updated with
jive_7.0.1_r2287
I have faced the same update as others have already descibed, the
controller keeps rebooting at 7.0.1 r2269. Haven't tried upgrade with
SD card though.
Before the r2269 my SBC had successfully upgraded at least a dozen
times without any problem whatsoever. I'm 100 % sure my wlan was up and

Now it is useless, after the latest Duetupdate. I get the looped

I've tried to factory reset the squeezebox and the duet.

I had the same problem, and here's how I solved it :
When the SC tells you an update is available, hold the '<-' button for
few seconds, it will bring you to the controller's home menu.
Then, go to Settings > Advanced > Software updates, and start the
update from there.

I have the same issue with the auto update but the manual update seems

I'm seeing the same problem also. The controller is at 7.0.1.r2269. It
reports that it needs to update to 7.0.1.r2287, but each time it begins
copying the update, it reboots (before giving any percentage progress
indication). I've done a factory reset on the controller, but still no

I would try a factory reset... take out the battery, and hold down the
plus key when you reinsert and all the way thru the reboot till you
hear the start-up tone.
See if that helps.
