Is it possible to show the album Year field in the now playing screen
together with the album Name? I would greatly appreciate that feature.
It would be even nicer if one could choose which fields are shown in the
now playing screen using e.g. toggles.

I can no longer directly play a song with short tap from my music
folder... instead a menu opens where I can add the song to queue or play
it... this is very unproductive and more or less the same as long tab...
actually it kills the whole experience.

Yes.
I think it depends on when you start the playback. If it's running it
will continue but you can't start the App in the background. SqueezePad
probably stays awake for a few minutes after playback stops but not
permanently.

- you also have problems with other FLAC files ripped or purchased on a
different date
- removing the embedded image makes a difference.

Removing the album art from the FLAC files has no effect on the glitch
between tracks...

Just lately I'm noticing a very slight jump/glitch between tracks while
replaying them through my iPad using Squeezepad and it's internal
"player".
I've tested against various versions of the LMS software and have also
confirmed this doesn't happen with while replaying via my Nexus (using

I've recently lost the "press and hold" pop up contextual menu for an
album or track on my iPad. I'm not sure if it is due to my recent

Actually I haven't seen any issues with any iOS 5 Apps under iOS 8.
There are some issues with iOS 7 Apps but even they are minor compared
to other iOS updates in the past.

I did, and they informed me of some settings/plugins that need to be
changed so 7.9 can behave like 7.8.

I updated to LMS 7.9.0 to fix an issue I was having, and now I seem to
have lost the Artists button on the lower left pane of the iPad app. I
can go into the My Music main menu and see Album Artists, but this seems
to behave more like All Artists.
