I love the idea of audiofeast...can't justify the price, though. Do you use
it? How has your experience been? Right now I have my own audiofeast
setup which uses TotalRecorder to record all of my favorite NPR and American
Public Radio shows in the
Can you grab stuff from the NPR archives that way as well?

Sure--you have to record it in real time but you can grab anything that's
available on their site. And with cartalk programming you can even get the
old shows
The new client is pretty slick with some creature comforts.
It does not work with Real Slim. Real Slim does not recognize that
Rhapsody is running.
It does download 160kbps audio files. Mine show up as WMAs but I think
its likely that WMP is my default player for the type it downloads.
Checking the listen.com website looks like a major announcement April
26. Probably the broad release of the 3.0 service with to-go
features.
So has anyone tried the new Rhapsody with the existing Realslim plugin?
Seems unlikely that it'd work but I gave the new rhapsody a try here at work
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this...I've been a bit under
the weather lately. You'll find the files here:

Be sure to enable the AlarmTimer plugin. And this probably goes without
saying but this was designed for Windows. One more thing: you may
Where is this version 3 of the Rhapsody client? I haven't been able to
find it and this is the first I've heard of those features being added to
Rhapsody. This is rather exciting

Aaron, I'd like to know how you got Rhapsody to auto-launch and stay
logged in via execute scripts. Can you post the way you did that?
To launch Rhapsody from the squeezebox you need KDF's execute-script plugin.
Install that and set up a directory in your slimserver\server directory
called
I'll whole-heartedly weigh-in with support for this suggestion. This is
also a major obstacle to me considering a squeezebox2 as it simply won't
work with Rhapsody. And while the squeezebox is impressive for a number of
reasons (slimserver is especially flexible) I agree with the original poster
Aaron,
Thanks. It has been awhile since I used it, but I believe the two
things that required 'work' were dropouts (the SliMP3 would loose its
connection to rapshody) and the second was just with Rhapsody itself
(my browser would bug out and there tech support was no help at all).
I am sure it
i throw in my 2 cents.. i also think it is a great plugin, but found
it high maintenance and stopped using it. if it worked reliably i
agree wholeheartedly with njabesyder...(there could be sales push
directly to the rhapsody crowd)...
